Of Elves and Men

My much loved and uber creative wunderkinds, OEAM needs you! Our poor, pathetic community is in possession of only ONE, just one, icon. This is a sad state of affairs indeed, especially now that we've opened our doors to so many other fanfictastical possibilities.

So I'm putting a call out for icons to express our new multi... um .... fandomness. Pull out your graphics programs and the multitude of screen caps, high-definition pics, and dazzling artwork currently residing on your flash drives / SD cards / hard-drives and help a poor 'injured but suffering quietly' moderator out... huh?

Starting now until the end of July, send your creative efforts to the archive email and then the second weekend of August (7th and the 8th) I shall upload said wonderful creations (with full artistic credit, of course) to our echoing icon page. In the case of a wealth of riches, I shall create a POLLLLL (which I'd kinda like to do 'cause I've never had an opportunity to create a poll) for voting purposes.

If you're using any artwork other than your own, please be sure to get permission from the artist and pass that info onto me so they can be credited as well.  And if you'd like to create any icons for a yet unrepresented fandom, throw those in too. It will give me another excuse to create a POLLLLL :o)
